Before oceans had names or mountains had crowns, there was only the Veil — a boundless expanse of starlight and silence. From its depths rose Vaelun, the First Flame, who sang creation into being. His breath became the skies, his tears became the seas, and from the sparks of his heart came the first gods — the Elder Pantheon.
They shaped the world as a forge shapes steel, and thus the lands of Vaelundar were born: continents cast across the firmament like jewels, each glowing with divine intent. But harmony never lingers long. The gods quarreled over the shaping of mortal will, and their clashing dreams fractured the world’s ley lines — birthing storm, magic, and mortal ambition alike.
Vaelundar is divided into three great continents and countless archipelagos adrift in the endless waters of the Great Aurelian Ocean, whose depths remain uncharted and whose currents whisper of lost civilizations.
Vast and ancient, Orrathia is the cradle of empire and ambition.
Here lies the mighty Thalassar Empire, a union of five distinct kingdoms united beneath the Imperial Crown seated in Velmorra — a city of spires, forges, and banners. Its reach stretches from the southern seas to the northern tundra, from the Misty Lost Isles in the west to the shining plains of Elandor in the east.
Thyrenvale — The Eastern Dream
Across the Eirathen Sea, the continent of Thyrenvale rises in jungled splendor and ruin. Here, elven city-states and arcane republics flourish among ancient spires reclaimed from forgotten empires. Trade with Orrathia flows through narrow channels of diplomacy and gold, but deep beneath the sea’s waves, something stirs — something vast and watching.
To the south, beyond the Straight of Myrrhathen, lies Solkara, a sun-scorched continent of deserts, obsidian mountains, and buried gods. Nomadic empires wander its sands, seeking the lost vaults of the First Fire.
Its northern border meets the Vorrandir Straight, a narrow corridor of violent waters separating it from Thyrenvale — a place of shipwrecks, pirates, and rumor.
